Paloma Aguilera Valdebenito was born in Amsterdam in 1982. She studied drama at Acting International in Paris. In 2005 she went to the Dutch National Film and Theatre Academy from which she graduated as a fiction director in 2009. Her third year film La salida was selected for the Mediawave Film Festival in Hungary and at the FilmSchool Festival in Slovenia.
