Born in the North of England, director Christian Cerami is of Italian and British descent. Growing up in both England and Italy, and spending some of his adolescence in America, has lead the director into having an outsider's curiosity into different cultures which he has used when directing. Since returning from the United States, Christian has concentrated fully on filmmaking and in particular documentary. Having recently graduated from Westminster Film School, the director's debut short documentary Black Sheep is a bleak and hard hitting look at racism within the working class youth culture in the North of England.
