Guy Lichtenstein was born and raised in Tel Aviv. After his film theory studies at the Tel Aviv University, he spent a year in the 'Sam Spiegel Film & TV School' in Jerusalem. Since 2010 he studies film directing with the direct supervision and support of the director Michael Haneke at the Filmakademie Wien, Austria.
