Pavlos Prantsidis was born in Thessaloniki, and studied at the School of Film Studies of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Bird's heart is his first film (graduation project). His main occupation is as an animator and set designer. He has participated in short and feature films as well as in group art and photography exhibitions. Bird's Heart was one of the ten films chosen by School of Film Studies in screenings for its tenth anniversary.
