Bingo
Timur Ismailov
Bingo is a young Moldavian Tzigane who has immigrated to the Netherlands. He works on a building site with a Russian named Serguei, and a Chechen called Umar, with whom he shares a minute flat. Despite a difficult day to day life, Bingo keeps his smile and the hope of one day building his own house in Moldavia. But an accident on the site upsets his plans...

Timur Ismailov was born and grew up in Baku (Azerbaijan, former USSR) in 1977. In 2002 Timur immigrated to the Netherlands. In 2004 he was admitted to the NFTA (The Netherlands Film and Television Academy). After almost three years of studies he switched from screenwriting to directing fiction. In June 2009 he graduated as a bachelor of Film and Television from the NFTA with his film Bingo, which has won one major national award (the Best Dutch Graduation Film) and several international prizes. At the moment Timur is writing the script for his debut feature.
