Laurits Munch-Petersen was born in 1973. From 1992, while working as a painter/ illustrator, he spent two years working in Bjorn Norgaard's workshop. He studied at the European Film College in 1997, before entering the Danske Filmskole in 1999. Mellem os is his final-project film.
