Şirin Bahar Demirel is a filmmaker and visual artist, working with moving image, collage, and photography. Her works interweave political and personal narratives. Şirin studied cinema at Galatasaray University, Turkey and got her MA in Artistic Direction of Cultural Projects at Paul Valéry University, France. She has already taken part in several festivals and exhibitions, including the Sarajevo Film Festival, the Istanbul Museum of Modern Art and Transmediale Berlin.
