Betty's Blues
Rémi Vandenitte

A youngguitarist tries hisluck in an old blues dive in Louisiana. He remembers the legend of Blind Boogie Jones, in the New Orleans of the 1920's, a story of love and revenge.

Rémi Vandenitte graduated in illustration from the Beaux Arts de Bruxelles and in animated film from La Cambre where he made several animated shorts: Vol au vent, Le Petit Chat est mort, Corpo industrie, Rhumsalé. In 2010 he was selected for the Festival Premiers Plans with Grise mine, his graduation film. He is currently working in events and illustration, and is also developing animated film projects. Betty's Blues is his first short since graduating.
