Husband and wife filmmakers Chris and Tony Sanders are spending a summer writing their screenplays on the Swedish island of Fårö, where Ingmar Bergman had lived. As their respective scripts advance, and in contact with the wild landscapes of the island, the border between reality and fiction becomes blurred.

First there is the ghost of Ingmar Bergman, since the couple who are “in residence” on the island of Fårö, off the coast of Sweden, are living in the Swedish director's house (which has become a foundation), in the natural surroundings of some of his masterpieces.
