Sameh Zoabi was born in 1975 and grew up in Iksla, a Palestinian village near Nazareth (Israel). He graduated from the University of Tel-Aviv in English literature and film and received a 3-year grant to study at New York's Columbia University. In February 2005, he received a MFA in film directing from Columbia School of the Arts. Be Quiet is his graduation film. Sameh Zoabi is putting the final touches on his first feature film screenplay at Cinéfondation.
