Sandra Desmazières is born in 1978 in Pau. After the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués of Paris, she studied painting and animation at the Fine Arts University of Barcelona-Spain and graduated from the École des Arts Décoratifs of Paris in 2001, where she directed her gradutation film, Sans Queue Ni Tête. She directed in 2009 her first short film Le Thé de l'oubli, which received the Grand Jury Award at Festival Premiers Plans d'Angers.
