Joachim Lafosse was born in Brussels in 1975. A graduate of the IAD, his graduation film Tribu was selected for Premiers Plans in 2002 and many other festivals. Scriptwriter, director, author and theatre director, he has worked on many projects and in 2003 made his first feature, Folie Privée, presented in Angers in the Fee Style Scetion. In 2007, he is selected and won the Grand Jury Prize in Premiers Plans with his feature Ça Rend Heureux. His following films were premiered in Premiers Plans before their realease in France.
