During the three and a half years of the siege of Sarajevo, from 1992 to 1995, the only connection Sarajevo's ordinary people had with the outside world was a through a tunnel that they secretly dug under the runaway of the Sarajevo airport. If this tunnel could speak, it would tell thousands of sad stories. This is only one of the possible stories...

Stefan Arsenijevic was born in 1977 in Belgrade. Formerly a journalist, he directed numerous documentaries as part of his studies at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. (a)Torzija is his first short fiction.
