Giacomo Abbruzzese

Abed enters Israel illegally by passing under the Wall, through the sewers. He works in a restaurant in the West of Jerusalem. On his day off, Abed decides to go home with a mysterious white box. It is the beginning of a long journey.

Giacomo Abbruzzese was born in Italy in 1983. Following a degree in Communication from the University of Sienna, he wrote a dissertation on Digital Cinema at the University of Montreal in 2007, followed by a Masters in Cinema and Multimedia at the University of Bologna. In parallel to his studies, he started making short films in 2003 (including: Romeo sotto Giulietta in 2003, Esprit Maternel in 2004, Women, Fire and Other Dangerous Things in 2005, Droga Party in 2006 and Passing the following year). He currently lives and works in France, Palestine and Italy. He is also one of the young artists produced by Le Fresnoy, Studio National des Arts Contemporains for 2009-2011.
