Fristly an actor on film and on TV (with, among others, Jean-Paul Rappeneau, Thomas Gilou, Emanuelle Bercot, and Nina Companeez...) and on stage, he made his first short in 2000: Les inévitables, which was selected for the Festival Premiers Plans in 2001. Following the Emergence summer university, he made another short, Naturellement. Health problems kept him away from cinema sets for three years, but he took part in the Ateliers d'Angers in 2006 with his project for a first feature, and then made another short, Et alors, presented at Premiers Plans in 2007, and then Annie de Francia.
