Born in 1971 in South Korea, Jihong Joo first studied communications at Seoul University, next studying the plastic arts, and finally enrolling at the Fémis in 1996. There, he directed films such as La Vente (1998) and Nuit (2000). Angle Mort is also the graduation film for Guillaume Renouil, student in the production department.
