Aman
Ali Jaberansari
Aman is a pool warden in a luxury hotel in Teheran, Iran. While confessing to his friend Nasser his reservations about having to get married in his village while he will have to leave his wife and children to go and work in the city, he borrows his friend's security guard uniform to impress his in-laws. But something unexpected happens which leads Aman to question his morals and his desires.

Born in Tehran, Iran in 1981, Ali Jaberansari moved to Vancouver, Canada with his family in his teens. He studied computer science at university. In 2007, after spending a year attending Abbas Kiarostami's filmmaking workshops in Tehran, he decided to pursue his real passion for making films. His resolve was strengthened when he was accepted into the MA Filmmaking programme of the London Film School from which he graduated in 2011 with a distinction and emphasis on directing and editing. This is Ali's graduation film.
