A crime happened in the village of Alto Sauce twenty years ago. Today the case has been reopened and the members of the community of Alto Sauce will have to face up to their own statements. Alto Sauce plays a game of mirrors between the past and the present and the lie that has never disappeared.

Fernando Pomares studied at ESCAC and specialised in editing. He is the postproduction coordinator of the animation production studio Citoplasmas, and a member of the collective Non Stop Barcelona Animació which promotes animation in the city of Barcelona. Alto Sauce is his first short film as a director.
