Helectra is in her early 30's living in contemporary Athens. She is an artist but makes her money as a babysitter. She is an activist and her boyfriend is a political prisoner. She is lonely and struggles to find her place in the world.

Constantina Voulgaris is born in Athens in 1979. She studied Cinematography in Stavrakou Athens Film School and then did an MA in screenwriting at the National Film and Television School in London.
"Especially these days where the whole western way of living, where capitalism, consumerism, globalization is in doubt, my need is to make a film that questions about all these things. My interest is to show the effects these issues have in everyday life, in people's small decisions, in our intimate relationships. Not in a pompous, intellectual way, but with all the worries, the embarrassment, the fear, the self sarcasm, the humorous, the hazy way most people feel, think and live their lives. My film ends with this community of people creating a garden and a play ground. They haven't changed the world and I am not sure how the world changes to be honest, but the people in the film are out there, creating something on their own, taking their lives in their hands, feeling solidarity amongst each other, and that is a beautiful thing!"
