Elias Amari
One day a man stops. He feels nothing, no longer rebels, but withdraws, in a corner, folded in on himself, quite simply extinguished. His behaviour will firstly shock those around him, then question them. Then this strange illness, this refusal of "being in the world", will spread like a contagion.

Elias Amari was born in 1978 in Geneva, Switzerland. From 2000 to 2004, he studied at the Vevey Photography School and also worked as an assistant photographer at "Le Studio Productions". He has worked as a free-lance photographer since 2004 and has been leading and developing several projects for advertising and cinema. At the same time, he has written screenplays for commercials and plays for theatre. Abnégation is his first short film as director.
