2002 Fiction 1h34
The hopes and wanderings of 22-year-old Argentinean Elsa, who drifts between dead-end jobs and her dreams of Europe. Lack of money pushes her and her friends to the margins of society. Elsa however, pins her dreams of happiness on Italy, the land of her forefathers. She clings to the memory of one night spent with an Italian whom she hopes to find again. With desperate energy, the director depicts a country in crisis and the gap between the aspirations of the younger generation and Argentina's social and political reality.
