In a kingdom tormented by fashion crazes, a queen and her court must always keep up with the new trend. If not, an abominable monster will consume them: the Ridicule. But with the arrival of a disarmingly natural cowboy, this nation of fashion victims laughs, and a simple question arises: what if the Ridicule isn't what we think?

Jean Lecointre graduated from the Paris École Supérieure des Arts graphiques. He then started creating his own collages for the press, publishing companies and TV, and published his first illustrations for the newspaper Libération, before bringing to the screen “Balançoire de Plasma”. In 2003, he switched to animation with “Turkish Delights”, a collection of baking adventures broadcast on Canal+. He tried his hand at youth publishing with Les Dents du loup (2002), Household Pets (2007) and À la mode (2010). In 2017, he adapted Les Animaux Domestiques into four animated short films of 4'30, as well as a 7' one.
