Radim Filipec was born in 1975 in Ostrava. In years 1999 he graduated from film school SVOSF in Pisek (vyšší odborná škola filmová SVOŠF). Then, he enters in the Directing Dpt. film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague, Czech Republic.
