Brussels. A tram travels through the town. Three youths mess around loudly with the passengers. One of them catches Anna's eye. They exchange smiles, brush against each other. A short tram ride, a furtive encounter... and everything gets entangled.

Born in Paris in 1979, Ève went for her higher education to Brussels in Belgium after gainng a drama baccalaureate. Accepted at INSAS (Institut National Supérieur des Arts du Spectacle) in the directing department in 2000, she was again accepted in 2002 in the image section. Since leaving the school in June 2005, Ève Duchemin has made documentaries, for which she also does the camerawork. She is interested in "staging" her documentary encounters within an increasingly fictional context. This is the challenge of her first fiction short, in 16 mm, Sac de nœuds, which gained the support of the Communauté Française de Belgique.
