There are things in life which are never possible to understand. Like love, death ... Whatever someone pretends to understand he will never be able to prove. Those things one can only feel. And switch off the logical part of brain. The best example is music. For my part it was an attempt to do this cinematographically. Nikolaï Khomeriki was born in Moscow in 1975, and in 2000 he graduated from the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Film Directors (Atelier of V.I Khotinenko, P.K Finn, V.A Fenchenko), where he directed Tezka, selected for the Angers Premiers Plans Film Festival. He was then awarded a scholarship from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to study in the Directing Department at La fémis. During his studies, he directed Tempest as well as Vdvoyom, both selected for Premiers Plans in 2005 and 2006. 977 is his first feature film. He is currently working on his new feature film project.
