Milan Balog
A refugee from Czech Republic, forced to leave his beloved country in the ‘60s during the Soviet invasion, wishes to return to his homeland thirty years later. He is dying and cannot make the trip alone. The voyage becomes impossible. To stay in touch with his beloved, he comes up with an original if tenuous means of communication.

Milan Balog was born 13 May 1980 in Trencin, Slovakia. He graduated from the documentary film department at VSMU in 2003. Today, he works as assistant professor there. His documentaries always walk that fine line between fiction and documentary.
