Annette Kristina Olessen was born in 1965. During her studies at the National Film School of Denmark she wrote and directed "The Bicycle" shown in Angers in 1990 and bought by La Sept. She graduated from DDF in 1991, and has sincethen been producing short documentaries for the Danish television program "Transit".
