Rosa is a mother of 5 and married to a cantankerous Sicilian. She rules over a frenetic household. To provide for her family, she secretly takes out loans... but the weight of debt ends up plunging her into denial and loneliness. Until the day her son Nino discovers an eviction notice. Despite himself, he takes on the role of a father who is all too absent, and looks for every solution to get his family out of this situation.
