Brady Corbet, born in 1988 in Scottsdale (USA), is an actor and director. He is best known for his roles in the films Thirteen (2003), Mysterious Skin (2004), Melancholia (2011) and Funny Games U.S. (2008). He has directed two previous feature films, The Childhood of a Leader in 2015 and Vox Lux in 2018, neither of which was released in French cinemas despite their prestigious cast and selections at the Venice Film Festival. The Brutalist won the Silver Lion for Best Director at Venice.
