Maïlys Audouze
Through her father's experience of being locked up from the ages of 15 to 18 in a detention centre for juvenile delinquents, the filmmaker questions resilience and transmission.

Maïlys Audouze was born in Paris in 1990. After a Bachelor's degree in Applied Foreign Languages, she changed studies and obtained a Masters in Film Making at Aix-Marseille University in the SATIS department. After taking a gap year to start working on a documentary project with the IRCAM, she graduated with a Masters in documentary creation at Lussas. Le Saint des Voyous (The Saint of Thugs) is her graduation film.
