In the North, winter is approaching. Bear thinks of her friend Bird who migrated south. Instead of hibernating like she does every year, she decides to travel the world to join him. This long journey through frightening and wonderful landscapes will give Bear the opportunity to experience the strength of her love, and a new taste for the unknown.

Marie Caudry has illustrated numerous children’s books for French and foreign publishers, most of them written by her long-time partner Gauthier David. In her packed, bustling drawings she likes to plant clues that will enable young readers to
explore multiple hypotheses, constantly renewing their reading, carried away by a graphic and colourful search where strangeness and gentleness go hand in hand. It was in this spirit that she made her first animated film, L'Ourse et l'Oiseau (Bear and the Bird), produced by Miyu in 2023.
