Amalimbo
Juan Pablo Libossart
Amalimbo is the story of Tipuana, a 5-year-old girl who experiences “the limbo” when she tries to pass to the other side in her desperate urge to mourn the recent death of her beloved father. It is a short story that happens in an undefined place in an also undefined near future.

Juan Pablo Libossart was born in 1978 in Argentina and established in Sweden in 2001. He completed the MBS's European Master of Audiovisual Management (MEGA) in 2010 and EAVE in 2013. Among other filmmakers, Libossart has produced films for Erik Gandini, Marcus Lindeen and Jesper Ganslandt. Amalimbo is Libossart's debut as a director and writer.
