Nicolas Graux, born in 1988 in Liège (Belgium), is a screenwriter and director. After completing high school in Brussels, he was admitted to the Institute of Media Arts (IAD) in Louvain-la-Neuve, and graduated in 2012 with a Master in directing, specialised in fiction cinema. His graduation film, Garçon au diable (Boy with the Devil), was selected in several festivals around Europe. In 2016, he travelled to Poland to direct his first professional short fiction film, After Dawn (Passée l'aube), produced by Tarantula (Belgium). In parallel, he is currently working on his first long-feature documentary, Traces of a Village (Traces d'un village), a Belgian-French co-production, set in a remote village in the Laotian jungle.
