Katell Quillévéré was born in Abidjan in 1980. She studied film and philosophy in Paris. In January 2003, she created the first Rencontres du Moyen Métrage in Brive within the framework of the "Société des Réalisateurs de Films", the French Actors'/Authors' Guild.
