COMPETITION
| The young European film makers are invited to Angers to present their films to the public, the film industry and the film critics. More than eighty films are being shown in six competitions with prize money of 200.000 euros being awarded by the juries and a public vote. |

Feature filmsBesides the competition of full length European films, we are presenting a competition which regroups French full length features. |

Short filmsThe short films are presented in two different competitions:- european short films, - french short films. |

Student filmsA panorama of short films are a witness to the current vibrancy of European film schools. |

Animated filmsThis catergory presents animated shorts which are regrouped into two programmes. Also competing in the animated shorts are animated films presented in the school film category, European short film category and the French short film category. |

3D first short filmsFor the second time the Festival organize a competition of 3D first short film in partnership with NVIDIA®. |
